For the Birds

Details designed by SL Steinman, part of a collaboration with Andrée Singer Thompson.

Commissioned by Concord Public Art Commission as a six-month temporary installation in the city's central park.

Included working with public school children who consructed bird sculptures out of recycled materials. Children's birds hung in park trees with our artwork. Program included a public art day to make birdhouses out of scrap.

1994-1995
